NAOKO TAKEUCHI WILL BE COMING TO THE US!

Naoko Takeuchi is the author and artist who came up with Sailor Moon. She will be the guest of honor in the San Diego Comic Book Convention! The convention will be held August 13-16 (Thursday - Sunday), 1998. The picture you see on the left is from the SOS Homepage.

Another reason that Sailor Moon was canceled!

USA CANCELS SAILOR MOON, THE REASONS...

Apparently it was not bad ratings that led to the cancelation to Sailor Moon on December 26th. This was quoted (The picture on the left was also) from the SOS Headquarters... "... 'Sailor Moon' was not dropped because of poor ratings. It was dropped because the ownership of the USA cable network has changed hands. Previously, Universal & Viacom were partners in USA. When this partnership was formed they agreed that they would be limited in forming competing networks..."

It is also noted that DiC will either convince USA to rebroadcast Sailor Moon with or without the new episodes or try for the fall of 1998 for Disney to broadcast the episodes. Cross your fingers moonies it's gonna be complicated!

WEBSTER REPLACES SAILOR MOON ON USA...

Unfortunetly the rumour was true. Sailor Moon has been replaced by Webster on the USA Network. But there are still stations like UPN, and the WB which shows it. Don't worry! SMU is preparing a secret weapon! Visit often to find out!

PIONEER AND THEIR ABSURD CLAIMS!

Ronald Webb also reports that recently Pioneer had tried to sue Naoko Takeuchi (The creator of Sailor Moon) on copying their rendition of "Pretty Sammy." This is absolutely absurd due to the fact that Pretty Sammy debuted after the debut of Sailor Moon. In retaliation a sequel to Sailor Moon is being put together. More info in the future.

NEW SM EPISODES IN THE USA....!?

Ronald Webb has just e-mailed me with this great news... (Please note that spelling error and grammar errors have not been edited. This is exactly how the e-mail reads):

"....We did it!! We've got the new episodes.I belive this info is reliable so I'm sending it out.Read this letter that was sent to me.It also say's there is going to be another season(number 6)!! Spread the word!! WE WON!!!! YESSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF MOST OF YOU SM FANS IN THE USA ARE WONDERING, WHEN ARE WE GETTING THE NEW EPISODES, GUESS WHAT! THEY WILL BE AIRED STARTING JAN98-MARCH98! SOMETIME BETWEEEN THEM! YAHOOOOO!
Any hoo, there was going to be a 6th seson of SM, but Pionere sued the entire shabanza of people who had to do with SM, and but of courese, Miss Naoko. Pionere claimed that SM was copying off of Pretty Sammy. LIARS! There might be a Sailor Chibi tv show wich will take place in Chrystal Tokyo. And that tv show will attack Pretty Sammy! Remember, SM came first, does get better ratings, and will kick that iddiots over at Pionerre, and Sammy, in the butts! RA RA SAILOR MOON!

CANADIAN SAILOR MOON FANS REJOICE!

Over at the Sailor Moon Web Forum, Angel has reported that... the 17 new episodes of 'Sailor Moon', began airing Saturday, September 20 at 12:30pm E/P on YTV. Also, as of Wednesday, October 29, the 17 new episodes of 'Sailor Moon' will be aired Monday to Friday at 12pm E/P.

'Sailor Moon' is currently on Saturday at 12:30pm E/P, Saturday at 11:30pm E/P and Sunday at 11:30am E/P on YTV. Please note that the 17 new episodes are also being aired in the Saturday, 12:30pm E/P time slot. With this said, please remember that all schedules are subject to change without notice.

MORE SAILOR MOON RUMOURS...

Over at the Sailor Moon Web Forum, Comet reports that Melisa Joan Hart (Star of "Sabrina") could be playing the role of Serena in the live action version Sailor Moon. So far it is confirmed that Geena Davis will be playing Queen Beryl. But Sabrina to Serena!? Who knows...
